Picture of Hand ShakeAlliance Associates are businesses and non profit organizations committed to working together to promote greater investment in energy efficiency as a primary means of achieving the nation's environmental, economic, national security, and affordable housing goals. Today more than 150 corporations, trade associations, public interest groups, research organizations and others work together in strategic partnership with the Alliance to assure that energy efficiency is used effectively in the U.S. and abroad to help meet the anticipated, phenomenal growth in demand for energy. Associates are afforded important access to comprehensive briefings featuring key decision-makers from Congress, the Administration, and the private sector; timely reports on governmental action and policies impacting energy efficiency products, services and markets; and networking and professional development opportunities.

Associates Luncheon: Little Rock, Ark.

Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 – Representatives from approximately 50 organizations and all levels of government were on hand in Little Rock to hear the Alliance’s Honorary Chair, Senator Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), discuss the future of energy and climate change policy as well as the role of energy efficiency in shaping those policies. The event, sponsored by Trane, was one of a regular series of events for Alliance Associates.
